Although my novels are set in locales as varied as the Pacific Northwest, New Orleans, and rural Texas, their common themes reflect my interests and my experiences as a professional musician: the beauty of the natural world, the power of music, the intersection of the supernatural with the natural, and the ongoing spiritual battle between good and evil. If any of those elements appeal to you, I hope you will give at least one of my books a read. Flutist Wendy Isaac Bergin and harpist Elizabeth Brownlee have been entertaining audiences together as the Elegant Artistry Duo since 1992. They have performed recitals on the Lenten Series at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, at Prairie View A&M University, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church (Brenham), the Summer Music Festival in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and for special performances at Bayou Bend. They were the featured soloists in Mozart’s Flute and Harp Concerto with the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra and the University of Houston Chamber Orchestra.
